Edge Blending is a technology used in the thinning of the outer edge crease of FreeForm produced and prescribed high minus (-) grade ophthalmic lenses to further reduce swelling and weight, thereby providing more comfort and a beautiful appearance.

Edge Blending technology used in the production of EyeArt ophthalmic lenses is applied by calculating the optimum location of the reading area according to each recipe and frame combination.
